Producer prices in Lithuania declined by 3.9% year-on-year in January 2026, following a 3% drop in December. This was the thirteenth consecutive month of producer deflation and the steepest fall since October 2024. The downturn was driven by a faster drop in manufacturing prices (-4.6% vs -3.4% in December), especially in the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (-21.6% vs -15.3%).

At the same time, price growth eased in mining and quarrying (1% vs 1.7%). In contrast, costs continued to rise for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (3.4% vs 2.7%), while prices for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning moved back into positive territory (2.6% vs -0.7%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.4% in January, reversing a 1.8% decline in the previous month.
