2026.08.1308:00:00UTC+00Namibia’s Inflation Holds Steady at 4.40% in July, Signalling Price Stability

Namibia’s consumer price inflation remained unchanged in July 2026, holding at 4.40% year-over-year, the same rate recorded in June 2026. The latest Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, updated on 13 August 2026, indicates that the pace of price increases has stabilized over the early part of the second half of the year.

The year-over-year comparison shows that July’s CPI reflects the change in prices relative to July of the previous year, with June’s figure similarly measured against June a year earlier. The unchanged 4.40% reading suggests that inflationary pressures have neither intensified nor eased between June and July on an annual basis, providing a consistent backdrop for businesses, consumers and policymakers as they assess economic conditions in the months ahead.
